So I’ve set myself a New Year’s, erm, August 26th Resolution to try and do the daily prompt posts at The Daily Post @ WordPress.Com. We’ll see how that goes but, for now, here’s my first Daily Prompt.
I’m supposed to tell you if I consider myself funny. I’m supposed to tell you what role humor plays in my life. I’m supposed to tell you the funniest person I know.
We’ll start with number three, just for kicks. Lots of people I know are funny, funnier than me. They’re all funny in their own ways. That’s what I love about people. No one is funny in the same way.
Number two, humor is important in life. I totally ascribe to that old saying that “laughter is the best medicine.” Don’t you?
And, without further ado, number one… do I consider myself funny. Doesn’t everyone? I came up with a joke once, that I’m 95% sure I didn’t steal from someone else. I’ll share it with you here and we’ll let you decide if I’m funny. Or pathetic.
Q: Why did the man from Moscow hurry across the road?
A: Because he was Russian.
Pathetic, right? If I am, don’t tell me. Ignorance is bliss, after all.
