Amazon has entire section called “Free Popular Classics” in their Kindle store!
Now, I’m not the biggest fan of e-readers but this is awesome.
There are 2,012 results on the list on my screen. That’s 2,012 free books! Classics, mind you, but still free. The top three on the “new and popular” sorting of the list? Les Miserables, A Tale of Two Cities, and Alice in Wonderland.
So, if you’re a fan of classics and have a Kindle, check it out!
